Enrolling for your Western Union Prepaid MasterCard is as easy as 1, 2, 3. No credit checks! No lengthy applications!

No bank account or credit check necessary. Valid Social Security Number or Driver's License or Matricula Consular required. A one-time non-refundable Activation Fee of $9.95 will be applied the first time you load funds to your Card. Reload your Card at any participating Western Union Agent location in the United States. Direct Deposit your pay check onto your Card and pay NO Monthly Account Maintenance Fee. That's a savings of $4.95 per month.

To spend money, you must load funds onto your Western Union Prepaid MasterCard. You can load funds at any participating Western Union Agent location or by using Direct Deposit. When you use your Card, the amount of each transaction, including any applicable service fees, is deducted from your account balance. The Cardholder Agreement terms and conditions apply. Once you choose a PIN, you may use the Card to obtain cash from any ATM that has the MasterCard®, Maestro®, Cirrus®or STAR® brand. A fee of $2.00 applies to each ATM transaction, in addition to any fees the ATM owner may charge.

You will need to give this information when you enroll for a Card:

• Non-U.S citizen: personal tax ID or passport number
  

There is a limit of one account per person as well as a limit of one Card per account. You must be at least 15 years old to enroll for a Card. You need not be a U.S. citizen to enroll for a Western Union Prepaid MasterCard; But, must be a U.S. resident to enroll. A non-U.S. citizen must provide a personal tax ID or passport number to enroll.
